The Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3 Episode 8 - Toddler Terrors of Time Travel Overview

Toddler Terrors of Time Travel is the eighth episode of "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3". This episode aired on September 29th, 1990 in the US on NBC. It started with a discussion between King Bowser and Kooky Koopa. Bowser has a headache and Kooky believes that his headaches are the result of being defeated by the Mario Bros.

Bowser says that if the Mario Bros. never went down the pipe in Brooklyn, he would have defeated them long ago. Kooky then comes up with the idea of taking them both back to that specific time period through a time travel tube. Toad is spying on them the whole time and when Kooky is making adjustments on the time travel tube, Toad slips away so that he can inform the Mario Bros. of what is about to happen.

Soon, Mario, Luigi, and Toad arrive at the Doomship. They sneak inside of an unloaded crate and eventually end up in the Doomships helm. Bowser and Kooky soon set off, however, the impatient Bowser takes control of the wheel which causes the ship to shake. The crate Mario, Luigi, and Toad were hiding in break which exposes them. Before Bowser can take care of them, Kooky explains that they are going too far back in time due to the time travel tube overloading and soon they all arrive in Brooklyn but as babies.

Now the baby versions of Mario, Luigi, and Toad have to try to get to the apartment where they originally fell down the drain before Bowser and Kooky do. It doesn't help when Bowser and Kooky is eventually transformed back into their normal ages leaving Mario, Luigi, and Toad still in baby forms, almost defenseless against the Koopas.
