The Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3 Episode 4 - The Beauty of Kootie Overview

The fourth episode of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 aired on September 15th, 1990 in the US on NBC. In this episode, the Sultan of Desert Land bath gets interrupted when oil starts pouring in from the faucets. He quickly alerts the Mario bros. and they go have a look. Mario and Luigi patch up the faucets to temporarily stop the oil from coming out. After a tremor caused by oil pressure, Mario and Luigi explains that they need to fix the plumbing before the palace blows.

Mario and the others don't know that Cheatsy and Kootie Pie Koopa are tampering with the pipes to suck up all the oil to Bowsers Doomship. Cheasty sees that Mario and Luigi are heading their way and tells Kootie Pie who then alerts her father, Bowser. He tells her and Cheasty to stop them so Cheatsy comes up with the idea of turning Kootie Pie into a human "dream girl" to stall Mario. It works, at least on Mario.

Soon, Kootie Pie, disguised as "Lady Fettuccine Alfredo" talks Mario into bringing Sultan and his guard, Princess Toadstool and Toad into the dungeon so that they would be safe in the event that the castle exploded. She quickly locks the door and exposes herself as Kootie Pie. Mario is shocked and is sprayed down a hole along with Luigi.

Bowser soon arrives along with some of his minions to congratulate Kootie Pie and Cheatsy. Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi had already escaped. They sneak up behind the Koopas and grab Cheatsy's dropped wand. Mario then comes up with a plan that involves Luigi being turned into a handsome koopa called "Casanova Koopa". Using this plan, Mario will try to fix the plumbing while Luigi uses his disguised appearance on Kootie Pie to save the others.
