The Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3 Episode 11 - Oh, Brother! Overview
The eleventh episode of "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3" called Oh, Brother aired on October 13th, 1990 in the US on NBC. In this episode, rain has been pouring for weeks which keeps the people of Mushroom Kingdom inside their homes including Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Toadstool. However, things aren't going so well in Toad's house because Mario and Luigi are fighting with each other. Eventually, Luigi ends up leaving into the rainstorm to be rid of his brother.
Meanwhile, Kooky Von Koopa is telling Bowser about his latest invention called the Power Shower which makes it rain on Mushroom Kingdom. This rain pour eventually causes loose gold coins to gather in a basin in an underground dungeon. However, some technical difficulties with the pipes causes the Flower Shower to burst and flood the dungeon. Bowser then tells Kooky to get one of the Mario Bros. to fix the problem.
By this time, Mario has went after Luigi and caught up to him to reason with him. However, Kooky sees them and chooses to grab Mario to fix the plumbing in the dungeon. He successfully captures Mario and takes him to Bowser. Kooky then puts another invention of his called the Lame Brainer on Mario and with this, Mario does whatever Kooky tells him to do. Luigi, who was left behind puts the fight he had with Mario aside and goes to save Mario.
