The Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3 Episode 13 - A Toadally Magical Adventure Overview

The thirteenth episode, which marks the halfway point of the series "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3", aired on October 20th, 1990 in the US on NBC. In this episode, a special magic wand is the center of all the chaos. The story begins with a messenger picking up a package which is a special magic wand that belongs to the Wizard King of the West. As the messenger leaves the store, the Wizard King notices that his crystal ball is clouding up and shows another troubling vision. King Bowser and his koopalings, Cheatsy, Bully, Kootie Pie, and Big Mouth, are planning to steal his wand.

The Wizard King's image appears before Mario and the others and he goes on to tell them that Bowser is planning to steal his special magic wand. Toad gets a good look at the ambush site and leads Mario and the others to the location. Upon arrival, they see the messenger on the run from the Koopas. The messenger meets up with them and hands the wand over to Toad. They are then chased but get away thanks to Mario.

Back at Toad's house, Toad expresses that he should be able to use the wand since he was mainly responsible for leading the way and saving the wand from getting stolen. However, the others disagree and the messenger also adds in that only trained magicians can use it. Even with this being said, Toad secretly takes the wand out of it's case and uses it. Things start to go wrong from this point and before you know it, the wand is exchanging hands with both good and bad guys and trouble erupts. It is now up to Mario, Luigi, and Toad to restore peace to Mushroom Kingdom and get the wand back into the possession of whom it belongs to.
