Super Mario World Episode 7: Born to Ride Overview
Born to Ride, which is the seventh episode of the Super Mario World series, aired on October 26th, 1991. The episode begins with Mario and Luigi trying to install a sink using bamboo pipe. It doesn't work and they soon find out why. Yoshi is eating the bamboo pipe. Mario and Luigi get upset and ask that Yoshi doesn't come around when they are working.
Yoshi, who takes this the wrong way, gets upset and decides to run away. Along the way, Yoshi comes across the "DinoRiders" which includes Duke, Lulu, and Rockman. At first he is frightened but after having a talk with them, he actually isn't that scared and takes a liking to their bikes. However, Yoshi tells them that Mario might not approve of him being a biker. Upon hearing the name Mario, one of the DinoRiders whispers to the others that King Koopa is offering a reward for the Mario brothers.
They devise a plan to invite Yoshi into the gang but first he has to pass a test to prove that he is worthy. He ends up passing the test and becomes an official member of the biker gang although in bad standing. Yoshi tells them that they treat him nicer than Mario. They use this and tell Yoshi that they will confront Mario and tell him to be nice to him. The DinoRiders have Yoshi set up a meeting for the confrontation at Tar Pit Milk Bar.
Mario and Luigi go with Yoshi to the meeting spot. Yoshi tells them that they have to go in alone and so they do. After a while, Yoshi gets concerned and takes a look inside and to his surprise he sees that Mario and Luigi have been captured and discovers the DinoRiders true intentions. He realizes that he has been taken advantage of and goes to get Princess Toadstool to help save Mario and Luigi.
