Super Mario World Episode 12: A Little Learning Overview

The episode right before the last episode of the Super Mario Word series, episode twelve, aired on November 12th, 1991. The first scene of this episode starts with Oogtar and Yoshi in front of school. They are about to enter but before doing so, Oogtar pulls a prank on Princess Toadstool. She is not happy and asks them to go inside.

Hip and Hop Koopa are watching and thinks that school might just be fun. King Koopa tells them he doesn't want them in school and forbids them to go. They agree not to go with their fingers crossed. School is commencing and hip and hop walk in and join in with the class.

The parents of the cave kids are upset because of the koopalings being at school. Mario tells Princess Toadstool about this, who is the teacher, and she leaves to talk things over with the cave people. Back in the classroom, Oogtar pulls a prank on Hip and Hop Koopa. Princess Toadstool returns and instructs everyone to go outside for recess. There, the Koopas start trouble. Eventually Yoshi, Oogtar, Hip and Hop Koopa get into a scuffle. Princess Toadstool breaks it up. Meanwhile, King Koopa notices that it is too quiet and wants to find out what Hip and Hop are up to so he goes to look around.

The pranks resume and when school lets out, the Koopas sabotage Oogtar and Yoshi's science project. When school resumes the next day, trouble starts to show up during the science fair. There is also trouble heading towards the school as King Koopa now realizes where his Koopalings went. With koopa after his koopalings and science projects turning disastrous, everything is in disarray.

This story was written by Martha Moran. Although Luigi appeared in this episode, he didn't have any lines which is the only time this has happened in any Mario cartoon.
